How to use them

  1. Download the month ahead — A4 in Europe, Letter in North America.
  2. Print it in landscape, at actual size, so the cells keep their proportions.
  3. Write the three things of the month first, at the bottom. The rest hangs off them.
  4. Put the sheet where you will see it without looking for it. A filed calendar is no calendar.
On iPhone and iPad

Paper holds the month. The app holds the day.

A calendar on the wall shows where you are going. It does not say what to do this morning, and it does not move when the day overruns. Tempolist is a notebook where what you write becomes your day: a checkable line is a task, placed on the calendar it becomes a block of time, and it stays attached to the line it came from.

  • Ticked in the note, ticked on the calendar: one text, never two lists.
  • A meeting overruns, you move the block; the note does not change.
  • Everything stays on the device, in markdown, readable in ten years.
